Since our inception, we have been providing the best, and we sum it up as follows:
Welcome to the Luxury Inca Trail Tour. The first day of this magical adventure starts in your hotel in Cusco. Have your breakfast and meet our tour guide who will escort you within the trail. Once every member of the group is in the private vehicle, you will be taken to Ollantayambo (9160.1 ft / 2792 m), one of the emblematic towns of the Sacred Valley, to appreciate Andean art and purchase supplies. Your chauffeur will continue to Piscacucho, also known as Kilometer 82 (8776.3 ft / 2675 m) the starting point of the trek. Amazing archaeological adventures await ahead.
During the first hours of moderate hiking, you will mix yourself with the Sacred Valley landscapes and people. Tarayoc (8776.3 ft / 2675 m) is the first lunch time venue featuring a fashionable table and cutlery along exquisite Peruvian food prepared by our professional cook. Restart the hike at your own pace and receive a rewarding massage and dinner in Wayllabamba (9744.1 ft / 2970 m), our luxury campsite in which you will spend a starry and warm night in your private tent.
How was your rest? It is time for breakfast and more adventures. The lushful forest shares its day with you and all your travel companions as you pass by the Ravine of Ayapata (10918.7 ft / 3328 m) and Llulluchapampa (12335.9 ft / 3760 m). Our strong porters will carry all the items necessary for your stay while you take pictures and enjoy the breeze during less than 5 hours of slow-paced challenging trek. Oh, lunch time also takes place in this fine natural point of the Andes!
Afternoon starts and you will get to the highest point of the Inca Trail, the Dead Woman’s Pass (13828.7 ft / 4215 m) named after its shape. By slow steps, you will descend to a more vivid scenario in the campsite of Pacasmayo (11482.9 ft / 3500 m). Have a hot shower, a massage session and a delicious dinner for you and your group before resting in your bedroom tent.
This is the start of a wonderful time travel, as the following days will feature impressive archaeological treasures of Peruvian ancient Inca people. Wake up, make yourself comfortable and have breakfast to be ready for today’s moderate hike.
First, the circular walls of Runkurakay (12975.7 ft / 3955 m) and the stunning view ahead will fill out your camera memory. Next, Chaquicocha welcomes you in a humid, beautiful landscape and the best lunch. The Inca architecture will amaze you one more time in Phuyupatamarca, the fortress above the clouds (12040.7 ft / 3670 m). Greet again our luxury facilities in the campsite and enjoy dinner after a hot shower and massage.
This is the last time you will meet the team of porters and cooks in the Luxury Inca Trail Tour. Go beyond fantasy and share a toast with all the staff to honor their efforts and know the story behind glamping!
