A complete tour in the south of Peru. Starting on the coast, in Lima; then we move on to Cusco and visit some jewels in the Andes, the Inca trail to Machu Picchu becomes an adventure, and then we go to the highlands to reach a navigable lake.

The staff in charge of you will be waiting for you at the Lima airport to assist you to your hotel. Lima life is like most capital cities, full of businesses, companies, markets, stores and more. And surely that will be the first thing you will see on your way to your hotel.
Enjoy your first night in Peru.
Please note that the check-in time to the hotels is from 3PM.
It is said that a country is not only known for its archaeological attractions; it is also known for its food.
This day will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about Peru through the flavors of its food. You will visit a market to learn about the ingredients and then, in a proper restaurant you will put all your talent to learn how to cook some typical Peruvian dishes. The chef guide will be attentive to you step by step so that you will have the best experience. At the end of this culinary tour, you will enjoy a lunch made by your own hands!
The afternoon will be free to visit the historical center of Lima or just go for a walk near the hotel and appreciate the sea.
If you wish, we can offer you a tour of the historical center of Lima at an additional cost, just ask your sales executive.
After a good breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Lima to take the flight to Cusco. In the city of Cusco, the staff in charge will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel.
In the afternoon, the guide will pick you up to start a light walking tour of the historical center of Cusco. As you walk through the streets, you will visit some attractions such as the Qoricancha (the temple of the sun in Inca times), the cathedral, the traditional market of San Pedro and the squares that are between the streets; at the end you will visit the neighborhood of San Blas, a very bohemian place located on a kind of hill. It will be an excellent tour to have the first acclimatization in the Andes and to exercise the body a little.
For the evening, we have prepared a dinner for you, in a splendid restaurant.
A very classic and unmissable tour, is the sacred valley; we suggest to do it, because it will also help a lot to be able to acclimatize even more for the next day’s hike.
This day, we head to Pisaq, a town almost on the banks of the river; this town is famous for its handicrafts, but what makes it more spectacular are its terraces of the Inca era nestled high on the slopes. The visit will impress you.
Afterwards, you will advance towards the river route, until you reach Urubamba to have a nice and delicious lunch prepared with the food produced in this valley. After lunch, it will be time to continue with a visit to Ollantaytambo, an archaeological site that will give us to understand the way of construction in the past.
To end the day, we will climb a little higher to appreciate the snow-capped mountains, but also to visit Chinchero, a picturesque village famous for its colonial church, an archaeological center and its textiles that still survive to this day.
Upon returning to Cusco, you will receive instructions for the next day’s trek.
Welcome to the breathtaking Luxury Inca Trail. The starting point of the trip in the realm of the Incas is in Piscacucho or Km 82 (2792 mts / 9160 ft) after breakfast or box breakfast. Reaching Km 82 in private transportation will also lead you to Ollantaytambo town.
Our porters and support staff will arrange all the details for this memory. Appreciate architecture, flora and fauna as you reach Tarayoc (2675 m. / 8776.3 ft.) for lunch. Wayllabamba is the final goal where the luxury campsite is set for you to have a hot shower and a delicious dinner served by our cook and a personal waiter. Have a rest in your bedroom tent.
Good morning and good breakfast! Let’s continue the path to Ravine of Ayapata (3328 m. / 10918.7 ft., 1.5 hours). A fairytale like forest waits for you. Walk catching your breath and taking pictures until lunch time in the Llulluchapampa campsite (3760 m. / 12335.9 ft.)
Keep admiring and wandering afterwards even in the Warmiwañusca Pass (Dead Woman’s Pass named after its sleeping lady shape). Cobbled steps will surprise you as you reach the final point of the descent to the Pacaymayo Ravine (3500 m. / 11482.9 ft.) Enjoy a luxurious night with a hot shower, a delicate dinner and a peaceful sleep.
Have you ever done yoga in the scenic Andes mountains? After apreciating the nature, nourish yourself with breakfast and start a 1 hour hike to the archaeological adventure in Runkurakay. Once you pass the Runkurakay Pass (3955 m. / 12975.7 ft.) the downhill path will lead you by a seaweed-covered lake. Let you puzzle your mind with the story of the Inca town of Sayacmarca (3585 m. / 11761.8 ft.) and Chaquicocha (3535 m. / 11597.8 ft.) and your palate with a gourmet lunch.
Back to the steps, walk for 2.5 hours and find the Phuyupatamarca Pass (3640 m. / 11942.3 ft.), the luxury campsite and even more peace as you relax with a hot shower, and dinner.

The final day you wake up at 4:30 am and follow the sun to your final destination. Arrive at the beautiful Wiñaywayna archaeological site (2650 m. / 8694.2 ft.) and ascend to the sacred Sun Gate or Inti Punku (2750 m. / 9022.3 ft.). This will be your first sight of Machu Picchu Inca citadel (2430 m. / 7972.4 ft).
You will be accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, explaining to you the many secrets of this citadel. Be free to roam at your own leisure. To end your time at Machu Picchu, enjoy lunch at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge Hotel and take the bus departing back to Aguas Calientes.
In Aguas calientes, you will spend the night in a confortable hotel.
Early in the morning, our knowledgeable guide will pick you up from your hotel in order to catch the bus up to the citadel for a 30 minutes ride. Today you will visit Machu Picchu (2430 m. / 7972.4 ft.) that will definitely leave you speechless as it is a magnificent citadel hidden on the Mountains and the vast valleys.
To end your time at Machu Picchu, enjoy lunch. Later the train will take you back to Cusco to meet our representative and end this trek adventure. Upon arrival, a representative will collect you in our private vehicle and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
Today, you have 2 options to continue wirth your journey:
The first is to take a short flight from Cusco to Juliaca. In case you decide to take this option, we will organize transfers and assistance at both airports. Lunch will be served in the city of Puno.
The second option is to travel by land visiting some attractions such as the church of Huaro, the archaeological center of Raqchi and the village of Pukará. On route, lunch will be served in a local restaurant. This option offers more adventure and a thousand ways to capture memories along the way.
In both cases, a comfortable and warm hotel awaits you in the city of Puno, a city located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
This tour will take you to have a different experience. Sailing over one of the highest lakes in the world. Departing from the main dock of Puno, you will have a first stop at the island of the Uros, to appreciate the life of the people who live on floating islands, made of vegetables. Optionally, you will be able to navigate in a traditional boat made of Totora, the vegetable very requested in these floating islands.
Continuing with the tour, it will be time to go a little further into the lake until you reach a firm island known as Taquile. There you will enjoy a lunch overlooking the lake, a lunch with an excellent souvenir. In Taquile you will have a tour until you reach the summit and learn more about the culture of the local people. Activities such as agriculture and textile art will be present. Music and dance are also part of the attraction.
In the afternoon, you will return to the city of Puno, after having a magical experience.
The final day of this tour in Peru has arrived.
The staff in charge of you will pick you up at the hotel to transfer you to the airport in Juliaca. From there you will take the flight to Lima and then back to your country.
On the route between Puno and Juliaca, you will make a short visit to a cemetery of a pre-Inca culture: Sillustani.
Once we arrive at the Juliaca airport, you will be assisted with the entire check-in process, until you are dropped off at the boarding gate.
